Piecing a
Scrap Quilt
a video workshop from
Maura Ambrose
Join me in my home studio as I walk step-by-step through making a quilt. I’ll share tips learned from years of quilting, links to buy supplies, and much more. All skill levels welcome.
A scrap quilt is a great first quilting project. You don’t have to worry about perfectly straight angles or precision sewing. Mistakes are easily fixed and imperfections are embraced. This is an excellent project if you’re getting back into quilting after a break.
I usually teach this workshop at my home studio in the summers. These classes are limited to 4 or 5 students simply because my table can only fit so many sewing machines. I am thrilled to offer this workshop online for everyone.

▸ questions about buying?
Can I download the guidebook after buying?
No, the videos are only accessible online from this website.
What happens if the site goes down?
I've made plans to keep this site online for decades. However, if I must take it down I'll email buyers a permanent archive for long-term viewing.
Can I share a guidebook with a friend?
A purchase is tied to your email and I ask that every household buy their own copy. Your purchase shows your appreciation of the hard work that when into this.
Can I post guidebook images to Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, etc.?
Absolutely. The images are free for all personal uses, like sharing online, wallpapers, or printing. It's also fine if you want to post a properly-credited image from your small-business's social media account. However, if you want to use my image to promote your product or event, let's talk first.
